WORK PACKAGES for what is set to be Australia’s largest solar farm connected to the energy grid will be highlighted to Queensland’s resource and construction supply chain at a virtual industry update on July 25.
Genex Power’s Bulli Creek Clean Energy Park is a multi-stage development project of up to 2GW of large-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System located approximately 120km Southwest of Toowoomba. Stage 1 of the project, the Bulli Creek Solar Farm, is expected to commence construction in early 2025 with supply chain work packages highlighted across Queensland and the country at an online virtual Connecting Industry Update.
Connecting Industry managing director Kieran Moran said PCL Constuction is Genex Power’s preferred engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for Stage 1 of the Bulli Creek Solar Project.
“PCL Construction will deliver the scope, timelines, procurement, and available work packages for the supply chain at the Connecting Industry Update,” Mr Moran said.
“The online virtual update is designed to give an overview of the solar project, assist the resource, construction, engineering and manufacturing sector to think strategically in their planning for future work and procurement, and for attendees to connect, engage, and network with the sector”
