Major Energy Players to Present at Gladstone Industry Luncheon

ConocoPhillips Australia and the Australian Energy Producers will headline the upcoming Connecting Industry Luncheon in Gladstone on Wednesday, June 4, providing exclusive insight into the future of Australia’s energy supply, sustainability efforts, and opportunities for local industry.

Held at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre, the luncheon will feature keynote presentations from Brad Cordingley, Gladstone Facility Manager (APLNG) – ConocoPhillips Australia, and Keld Knudsen, Queensland Director – Australian Energy Producers, delivering updates that directly impact the regional supply chain and Queensland’s role in the national energy conversation.

“With Queensland playing a critical role in Australia’s energy transition, this event isn’t just timely – it’s essential,” said Kieran Moran, Director of Connecting Industry.

“We’re bringing together major energy players and the regional business community in one room to talk about what’s next – from planned maintenance shutdowns and new exploration projects, to the evolving energy policy landscape.”

Mr Cordingley will provide an insider’s view of ConocoPhillips’ operational focus in Gladstone and updates on new gas exploration in the Otway Basin, while Mr Knudsen will speak on national energy policy, industry investment, and the broader outlook for producers and supply chain partners across Australia.

“The goal is simple,” Mr Moran added. “We connect projects to people. Whether you’re in construction, manufacturing, logistics, or professional services – this is a must-attend event for those who want to be part of Queensland’s energy future.”
