Green & Gold on winning streak at Mount Wandoo

Green & Gold Minerals (ASX:GG1) has reported further high-grade gold results from recent drilling at Mount Wandoo, within its Chillagoe gold project.

Mount Wandoo boasts an existing inferred JORC mineral resource estimate of 32,400oz gold and 387,000oz silver, and Green & Gold is looking to rapidly expand that and conduct mining studies.

“The high-grade results announced today bolster the company’s strategy to accelerate development of
Mount Wandoo to exploit high gold and silver prices and granted mining leases,” managing director Quentin Hill said.

“The results show Mount Wandoo is a significant high-grade system that is set to grow as the new intercepts are integrated into the model.

“We look forward to updating the model with the new results, commencing mining study work, toll
treatment discussions with the nearby Mungana mill, and planning more drilling to target more high
grades and further define the extensions discovered.”

Green and Gold said the Wandoo goldfield had long been recognised for its exceptionally high-grade ore, with historical production from the Hardman mine averaging 39g/t gold in fresh rock.
