Queensland’s uranium story is already being written. Companies are investing in exploration and advancing projects, global demand for uranium is growing and Australia is a major participant in the international market. Yet Queensland’s uranium resources cannot currently progress to mining, creating one of the most interesting resources conversations in the state and one the broader resources, construction, engineering and industry supply chain should understand.
The Connecting Uranium Forum Queensland brings that conversation into one room. Hear what’s happening on the ground, understand where investment and exploration are heading and gain insight into the commercial, industry and policy factors that will determine what happens next. For businesses across the resources and supply chain sectors, investors, industry and anyone wanting to better understand the sector, it’s an opportunity to get closer to the projects, understand where existing capabilities could fit in the future and connect with the people shaping the discussion.

Networking is built into the forum, beginning with the Pre-Forum Industry Networking Evening at Ward’s Brewery on Tuesday, 24 November, followed by dedicated opportunities to connect with presenters, industry representatives and other attendees throughout and after the forum. Morning tea (10am-10.30am) and a light lunch (12.30pm-2pm) are provided, with registration and networking from 7:30am and the forum commencing at 8:30am at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.
